Little Glastonboro Event Information 2026

We can’t wait to welcome you to LITTLE GLASTONBORO on Saturday 20th June 2026. To ensure an enjoyable and safe festival experience for everyone, please read this IMPORTANT event information.

TIMINGS

Gates Open: 12:45 PM

Last entry: 7pm

Music Finishes: 10 pm

Curfew: 10.30 pm

RE-ENTRY

There will be no re-admittance to the festival if you leave the grounds. This includes children who wish to leave to go to the park and then return.  This approach is to strictly adhere to our licensing agreement and support our policy around drug and alcohol abuse.

WATER

1 sealed water bottle will be permitted on entry. Unsealed bottles of any kind with liquids in will be asked to be poured out prior to entry. There will be bottles of water for sale priced at 1 token (£2.50) for 2 bottles.

On particularly hot days, we will also operate a free tap water station where empty bottles can be refilled.

FOOD & DRINK

Other than water, only snacks/toddler food for very young children and for medical reasons will be allowed. A Foodie Village is on-site with various food vendors and options to choose from. There will also be outdoor festival bars serving alcoholic and soft drinks as well as the indoor bars available.

STRICTLY NO ALCOHOL IS TO BE BROUGHT INTO THE VENUE

Without these rules, the festival would not be viable but it also supports local food traders & businesses in our community. Strict bag searches will take place on entry.  Anyone found attempting to bring alcohol on site will be refused entry with no refund given.

TICKETS

Everyone will need tickets to enter the festival. If booked online please ensure you print all tickets or have them available on your mobile if you have selected this option.

We operate a challenge 25 policy. If you are lucky enough to be of adult age (18+) but still look younger than 25, we may ask you for I.D. Please therefore ensure you have some form of valid photo ID for our security personnel to check as without it, you may be refused entry on the adult ticket purchased.

Ticket categories will be checked to ensure it matches the persons entering.

CHILDREN

Under 18’s MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 18.

Children aged 5 and under  are free but still need a ticket. You can get these free on our website www.whatsoccurrinrochdale.co.uk/tickets

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL CHILDREN (aged up to 18 years) MUST ARRIVE AND ENTER WITH THEIR RESPONSIBLE ADULT ON THE SAME TICKET. ENTRY WILL BE REFUSED FOR ANY CHILDREN WHO DO NOT ATTEND WITH AN ADULT.

The above rules are to adhere to our strict licence agreement and no exceptions will be made.

EAR PROTECTION

This is a music festival, if you have young children you may want to bring some ear defenders as sustained exposure to loud music may be damaging to young children.

FILMING & PHOTOGRAPHY

The festival will be filmed and photographed for marketing and promotional purposes. By entering the festival site you are giving your consent to be featured.

RUBBISH & LITTER

As it is mid cricket season and to aid all the staff and volunteers in ensuring the pitch is ready for the game the following day, we ask if you could please respect the grounds and take all your rubbish to the nearest bins or take it home with you. This really does assist with the speed at which we can get the pitch ready for a game the following day.

DOGS

Only assistance dogs will be allowed into the festival and you must seek prior authorisation for this by emailing info@littleglastonboro.co.uk

TOKEN SYSTEM

As in previous years, we will again be operating a TOKEN SYSTEM at Little Glastonboro. Tokens speed up the service at bars and reduce the time spent queuing. Plus they are really easy to use!

Tokens can be purchased at the token station which will be readily visible. .

• Tokens can be purchased with cash or card

• Cash purchases are in increments of £15

• Each token is worth £2.50

• Everything at the event will use tokens!

• Tokens will be available to purchase from 12:45pm -10 pm.

Tokens can be reimbursed to the full value before you leave from the token booth or for a period of 24 hours after the event.  Please note that tokens after this time period can not be returned or refunded.

All festivals do have queues at peak times however we feel the token system speed service at the bars and vendors as much as possible.

CASH & CARD PAYMENTS

Please ensure you bring cash and change where possible for purchasing tokens. Card payments will be accepted but again making transactional payments can increase queuing time. There is no ATM on site.

CHALLENGE 25

The festival and bars operate a ‘Challenge 25’ policy. Please ensure you bring valid and recognised photographic ID.  Any adult that is witnessed purchasing or attempting to purchase alcohol for those under the age of 18 will be removed from site without exception and no refund will be given. There will be zero tolerance to this.

CLOTHING & FOOTWEAR

Please ensure you wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather forecast.

CHAIRS & UMBRELLAS

This is a standing festival but free to bring camping chairs and picnic blankets for your comfort. However please ensure these are positioned away from the area directly in front of the stage to allow for standing room. We would prefer people to refrain from bringing umbrellas in order to not obstruct the view of other festival-goers. Gazebos or tent structures of any kind are NOT permitted due to viewing restrictions and health and safety requirements. This will be strictly enforced to ensure your safety.

BAG SEARCHES & PAT DOWNS

For everyone’s safety, our security teams will carry out bag checks and pat-downs therefore please expect queuing at the main gate whilst we carry out thorough checks. We have the right to refuse entry to anyone attempting to bring prohibitive items into the event. Anyone who is refused entry will not be entitled to a refund.

PARKING

No parking is available on site. Please find alternative ways of getting to and from the venue. Please respect local estates and park responsibly. We advise walking to the cricket club.

PERSONAL POSSESSIONS

Little Glastonboro and the venue accept no liability for the loss or damage of your own personal property whilst attending our festival.

BEHAVIOUR & CONDUCT

Everyone is attending the festival to have a good time. Please help us to maintain our safe family feel festival by ensuring you are respectful and courteous to fellow festival-goers, volunteers and staff. Any unruly, disrespectful or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated and the security team reserves the right to remove you and other members of your party from the festival site. Anyone removed from the site will not be entitled to a refund.

We ask that you please also be respectful to local residents and their property both en route to and going home from the festival.

Most of all, we ask that you respect all the above rules and enjoy the festival and the atmosphere it brings.

Thank you for your continued support.
